Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist in Natick for 18 hours per week. The role may include Bone Density or Mammo Tech duties, with compensation dependent on experience. The base pay ranges from $38.00 to $57.34 per hour.

Under the supervision of the Radiology Manager, you will operate fluoroscopic, portable, and diagnostic equipment, ensure safe imaging, and support a multidisciplinary team across sites. Day shifts available onsite.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to relate to patients and coworkers under stress.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Good English reading/writing skills for medical records.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiologic terminology and physics.
• Ability to position patients and operate radiographic equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and exam correctly through documentation and interview.
• Explain exam procedure and any contrast use to patient; ensure understanding.
• Adjust equipment and factors to obtain quality images while maintaining safety.
• Perform imaging with appropriate equipment and contrast as needed.
• Ensure images are properly labeled and transmitted to PACS; follow department policies.
