Cone Health is seeking a Bone Densitometry Technologist RT Certified to perform densitometry exams and administer contrast media as needed. Under radiologist direction, you will assess bone density conditions and fracture risk to support diagnosis and management, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

The role emphasizes adherence to protocols, accurate documentation, and effective communication using AIDET to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, graduate of Radiology/Imaging or related program.
• 0–1 year Healthcare - Diagnostic Technologist experience.
• CBDT certification or ARRT bone densitometry certification (CBDT/RT-R-BD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and special exams following protocols to minimize radiation exposure and optimize quality.
• Maintains exam productivity within established benchmarks.
• Documents exams in CHL and PACS for accessible medical records.
• Identifies charges for studies for accurate billing and reimbursement.
• Addresses data errors in final PACS output to ensure accurate diagnoses.
