Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of Radiologic Technologist experience.
  • Graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Complete a Customer Service Assessment.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs bone densitometry scans according to established procedures.
  • Obtains patient clinical history prior to performing the procedure.
  • Maintains quality control on procedures and equipment; keeps required reports.
  • Communicates with Rheumatologists and transcription services as needed.
  • Ensures patient safety and correct identification before exams.
  • Positions patient accurately for the exam and archives exams daily.
