Job summary

Saint-Gobain Poestenkill is seeking a Production Bonding Operator to safely run bonding and cap assembly machinery, both manual and automated, ensuring products meet specifications. The role involves welding, press fit, glue and clean room tasks while adhering to ISO standards and 5S practices.

You will contribute to continuous improvement projects and act as a training resource for new hires, supporting EHS guidelines and shift handoffs. The position is full-time at our Poestenkill, NY site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willingness to train and follow safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate all bonding machines and processes, including manual and automated welding, press fit, glue, and clean room equipment, following instructions and quality guidelines.
• Complete quality, inventory, and manufacturing documentation accurately.
• Communicate issues clearly to ensure smooth shift handoffs per WCM standards.
• Perform basic in-process quality inspections.
• Serve as a training resource for new operators as needed.
• Support EHS and 5S programs and policies.
• Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed.
