Job summary

Pasadena City College is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee district-wide bond-funded facilities projects. You will ensure technology infrastructure for new construction and modernizations meets standards, budget, and schedules while complying with public works and bond auditing requirements.

The role requires coordinating with Facilities Services, architects, and engineers, reviewing plans, and ensuring timely delivery of technology components for campus construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, or a related field; five years in IT; two years PM experience.
• Associate degree in Business, MIS, or related field; seven years in IT; two years PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, directs, and manages IT and networking systems district-wide.
• Coordinates IT project activities with Facilities Services, architects, and MEP engineers.
• Serves as the primary IT liaison during planning and construction; reviews blueprints for technology omissions.
• Plans technology projects to meet schedule goals and procurement lead times.
• Monitors budgets, identifies risks, ensures bond-fund eligibility for technology expenses.
