Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Bills of Materials Coordinator to manage item master data and BOM updates in the ERP system.

You will ensure accurate data and proper record keeping within the master data management function. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, and Product Management to verify BOM structure, components, quantities, and costs, while supporting cost modeling and data validation activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Bill of Materials or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with master data management and ERP data entry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate creation and maintenance of all item master (SKU) and bills of material data in the ERP system including both finished goods and raw materials.
• Collaborate to investigate inventory and cost variances, and updating item master or bills of material.
• Coordinate and expedite bill of material and SKU approval processes with accuracy and complete agreement between Traverse and Product Vision.
• Work with Manufacturing, R&D and Product Management to ensure that the bill of material has the correct structure, components, quantities, and costs.
• Create data models for analysis and data verification.
