Job summary

Keystone RV is seeking a detail-oriented BOM Writer / Costing Specialist who enjoys working with data and solving problems. This role blends office work with time on the production floor to build and maintain accurate Bills of Materials for Travel Trailer and 5th Wheel RVs.

You’ll collaborate with sales, engineering and production, update BOMs for PCNs, and support cost analytics to reflect actual builds. A hands-on, collaborative manufacturing environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with numbers and data.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform unit conversions.
• Proficient in Excel formulas and formatting.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain BOMs for Travel Trailer and 5th Wheel RVs.
• Update BOMs based on Product Change Notices (PCNs).
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production on cost data.
• Spend time on the production floor checking materials and builds.
• Research and reconcile differences between cost expectations, BOMs, and actual builds.
• Keep product data clean and up to date.
