Job summary

Stupid Cancer, Inc. is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to elevate our bold voice and expand engagement with young adults affected by cancer.

You’ll own a strategic communications plan and manage email, social, digital, and web content to drive engagement and revenue. You will lead multimedia content creation, oversee event communications for CancerCon, and grow our multi-channel footprint while partnering with the development team on fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or nonprofit work.
• Experience leveraging social media platforms for engagement, conversions, and activations.
• Experience creating video and graphic content for storytelling and engagement.
• Proficiency with analytics platforms and SEO basics.

Responsibilities

• Brand stewardship across all channels and touchpoints.
• Lead a comprehensive communications strategy and master calendar to drive engagement and revenue.
• Oversee multichannel content production including email, newsletters, and website updates.
• Manage multimedia content creation and collaborate with internal teams.
• Lead promotional campaigns for CancerCon and other initiatives.
• Monitor trends and expand audience through influencer collaborations.
