Job summary

Therma, a Legence Company, is expanding its Boise presence with a Project Manager who will lead HVAC/mechanical projects from inception to completion. This is a full-time, on-site role in Boise, ID with no remote option.

You will manage cross-functional teams, control budgets, and ensure client satisfaction for high-profile builds. We seek a seasoned PM with 5+ years in HVAC/MEP construction, strong communication, and a track record of delivering complex projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Project Manager in HVAC Mechanical / Plumbing industry.
• Proven experience managing large, complex construction projects.
• Ability to operate independently and autonomously, with discretionary judgment.
• Proficient on MS Office Suite.
• Experience using ERP system.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Developed presentation skills.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Attention to Detail.
• Proactive.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to problem solve — Team Player.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains professional communications with co-workers and clients.
• Makes sales contacts, researches customer needs and follows up on sales leads.
• Develops and maintains relationships with clients, assures client satisfaction.
• Coordinates, utilizes, and leads staff from all departments as needed for projects.
• Prepare budget projections and control costs and communicate strategies and changes.
• Meet established revenue and profit goals.
• Attend client project meetings.
• Be on job sites during construction activities and critical project times.
• Establish, manage and lead project team.
• Facilitate and troubleshoot project problems.
• Purchase materials and equipment as needed.
• Maintain control and accurate projections of project costs.
• Monitor budgets and value engineering.
• Review submittals with client and installation crew.
• Communicate with client and troubleshoot technical issues on projects.
• Cost out change orders and present to client.
• Track material costs and labor hours as needed.
• Redline and mark up drawings as needed.
• Provide department leadership and mentoring.
• Support accountability for individual projects and the MEP department.
• Follow Therma Project Management procedures.
