State of Idaho's Department of Administration seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects for state agencies in Boise. You will administer budgets, RFQs, design and construction, and supervise design professionals and contractors.

The ideal candidate promotes strong relationships with customers and peers, manages a large project portfolio, and ensures projects meet goals on time and within budget. A recruitment bonus is available after six months of service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects from scope through budget and outcomes.
• Ability to interpret complex material for public consumption.
• Contract development and negotiation experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating design and construction teams.

Responsabilités

• Review and evaluate projects with agency reps to set goals and schedule.
• Establish comprehensive budgets reflecting funding and challenges.
• Negotiate and administer contracts using the division's PM software.
• Prepare RFQs for design services and delivery methods.
• Coordinate design and construction activities to reach project goals.
• Review docs for codes, ADA, and specifications compliance.
• Coordinate bidding, awards, and construction activities.
• Attend meetings, monitor site activities, and manage changes within budget/time.
• Cultivate positive relationships with agencies statewide.
• Assist with budget requests for future projects and furniture/grants.
• Review facility conditions and provide input on improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
