Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products in Oregon is seeking a Boiler Stoker/Plant Operator to safely manage boiler grates, perform routine inspections, and support continuous operations on a 12-hour rotating shift.

You will clean boiler areas, follow EMS environmental procedures, and help with vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, contributing to a high-standards safety culture and reliable production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to stand or walk on concrete and other hard surfaces for extended periods.
• Excellent attendance is required.
• Able to work any and all shifts and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Safely clean boiler grates at the beginning and middle of each shift, or as directed.
• Clean up in front of the boilers after cleaning grates.
• Understand and comply with Environmental procedures in the EMS book; safely unplug boiler stoker feed chutes.
• Complete a vehicle inspection, lubrication, and maintenance check.
