About the Role

Our client requires a certified and experienced Boilermaker to join their industrial maintenance team in Welkom . This role is critical for the fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of pressurized vessels, tanks, and metal structures used in industrial processes. You will work with a variety of metals and alloys, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to ensure the integrity and safety of fabricated components. This position is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong work ethic, contributing to the operational reliability of a key industrial facility in the Free State province.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and structural metal components.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints , diagrams, and specifications for fabrication projects.
• Perform cutting, shaping, and joining of metal parts using various welding techniques (e.g., arc, gas, TIG, MIG).
• Conduct inspections and tests on completed work to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing metal structures and equipment as required.
