Job summary

Styropek is seeking a Boiler House/Utilities Operator at our Painesville, OH facility. You will operate boiler house equipment, manage water treatment and cooling tower processes, and perform routine testing to ensure product quality and plant reliability.

The role requires 1+ years in a similar setting, a valid Ohio Stationary Engineer License, and the ability to read procedures and interpret data from the DCS system. SAP experience is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Ohio Stationary Engineer License required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate boiler house equipment and process systems.
• Perform process quality testing and sampling.
• Maintain safety checklists and preventive maintenance.
• Handle water treatment and cooling tower operations.
• Change filters and manage routine maintenance tasks.
• Assist maintenance and other operators as needed.
• Requisition/secure parts for stores area.
• Record data and ensure accurate documentation.
