Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of related facilities or boiler room experience.
• Class 4 NIULPE power engineer's license.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems and operations.
• Ability to operate and understand diagnostic and computer equipment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional heavier tasks.
• Availability for variable shifts under close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate boiler and utility system equipment.
• Make necessary adjustments to main plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and respond to building automation or alarm systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct chemical analysis to optimize system performance.
• Complete corrective maintenance as needed.
• Answer boiler room and facilities department phones and dispatch personnel.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, calls, and logs.
• Research and order supplies as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.
