This full-time position (40 hours per week) requires operating, maintaining, and monitoring three high-pressure steam boilers and related equipment to provide a continuous steam supply to the station. • Experience operating boiler plants and related equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to read gauges, logs, and perform water testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain three high-pressure steam boilers and associated equipment.
• Monitor and adjust controls to ensure safe, economical steam supply.
• Maintain logs with operating data (pressure, temperatures, feedwater).
• Perform lubrication, adjustments, and minor repairs to keep plant in good condition.
• Coordinate with Vendors and Utilities Supervisor for fuels and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and dispatch as instructed by the supervisor.
• Perform general cleaning and routine preventive maintenance of equipment.
