Job summary

Constellation New Energy seeks a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain eight Cleaver Brooks boilers at a Frederick, MD facility. You will ensure safe operations, monitor plant performance, and support customer relationships on-site.

The role requires a Maryland Stationary Engineer license or eligibility, 5+ years boiler experience, and capability to work flexible hours including emergencies. Company offers comprehensive benefits and a bonus program.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of boiler operating experience or equivalent.
• Maryland Stationary Engineer license required or able to obtain.
• Possession of a Federal Security Clearance or eligibility.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, including working with up to 480 volts.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem solving, data analysis, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce safety compliance.
• Operate plant as Stationary Engineer per company policies.
• Represent Constellation onsite and maintain customer relationships.
• Monitor plant operations via controls systems.
• Be on-call for emergencies and odd hours.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and water quality at plants.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on Cleaver-Brooks boilers.
