State of Colorado is seeking a Boiler Operator with a Stationary Engineer Certification for the Denver Correctional Complex. You will oversee boiler house operations, supervise inmate workers, and support climate control systems while ensuring safety and adherence to policy.

Qualifications include a valid Stationary Engineer Certification and 4 years of boiler operation experience. The role requires strong supervision, safety emphasis, and clear communication within a correctional environment.

Competenze

• License: Active Stationary Engineer Certification (must be attached to application)
• Experience: Four (4) years of boiler operations experience including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• Substitutions: Apprenticeship or degree may substitute for experience; attach transcripts
• Minimum competencies include strong communication, attention to detail, ability to supervise inmate workers, and adherence to safety protocols

Mansioni

• Supervise inmate workers and ensure safety and security in boiler house operations
• Maintain and operate the boiler house and water treatment plant; assist HVAC with climate control systems
• Coordinate with other trades; complete work orders and incident reports
