Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in Louisville, KY seeks a Boiler Operator to safely run wood-fired and gas-fired boilers in a 24/7 operation. You will monitor and adjust boiler systems, assist with wastewater controls, and collaborate with maintenance for troubleshooting.

The role emphasizes safety training, proper PPE use, and adherence to procedures to maintain zero accidents. This is an on-site, full-time position with growth opportunities within a large manufacturing network.

Qualifications

High School or GED or Equivalent.
Previous Experience with Wood or Gas Boiler systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate wood-fired and gas-fired boilers on a 24/7 basis for our Louisville facilities.
Maintain the plant wastewater system by monitoring sewer flows and operating related equipment.
Prioritize safety by completing safety training and following safe procedures to uphold zero accidents/incidents.
Monitor controls including wood feed, steam pressure, emissions, fly ash, and other systems; document results.
