Operate, adjust, and maintain high-pressure and associated heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. Operate and monitor plant operations control systems and maintain logs. Receive and respond to requests for maintenance, service, or repairs.

Responsibilities

1. Preventative/Corrective maintenance
   1. Identification of equipment
   2. Proper use of tools and supplies
   3. Complete 100% of all work orders
   4. Respond to calls from hospital
2. Boiler Plant Operation
   1. Chemical treatment of boiler and associated systems
   2. Perform safety checks on operating boilers
   3. Troubleshoot boiler issues and correct to maintain operations
   4. Operate all boiler support equipment
3. Chiller plant operation
4. Fire Alarm System
5. HVAC

Qualifications

Education

High School graduate or equivalent

Experience

6 months of work-related experience or equivalent training in Plant Operations preferred

Licensure

Boiler Operators License or equivalent license preferred. Acceptable licenses include: RI stationary engineer/boiler operator license, PF Journeyman-1 or 2, PF Master 1 or 2, CT Licenses S-1, S-2, S-3, S-4, OE-2.

Special Skills

Knowledge of steam boiler operation, HVAC, power generators, plumbing, painting/patching, and general trade skills.
