J.D. Irving, Limited in Northern Maine seeks a safety-oriented, energetic operator to monitor biomass and oil-fired boilers and a turbine generator in a safe, efficient manner.

You will perform troubleshooting and routine minor repairs, oversee daily operation of dry kilns, and work rotating shifts to keep 24/7 production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate's degree
• Minimum requirement: Maine HP Boiler License
• Years of Experience Required: 1-5 years of experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
• Ability to work shifts as the operation runs 24/7

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and controlling the operation of biomass and oil fired boilers and a turbine generator in a safe and efficient manner
• Performing operational troubleshooting and routine minor repairs on all boiler related equipment as needed
• Daily operation and maintenance of dry kilns

Education

Trade Certification or Associate's degree

Maine HP Boiler License
