Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Houston Plant. This on-site, full-time role supports wastewater plant operations, maintaining boiler systems, pumps, valves, and piping.

A City of Houston Grade 2 Stationary Engineer License must be obtained within six months, with 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with safety inspections, and collaborate with operators to keep critical equipment

Qualifications

• Must obtain City of Houston Grade 2 Stationary Engineer License within six months of hire.
• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, wastewater, or utility settings.
• Strong pump/valve maintenance, electrical systems (LOTO/troubleshooting), and piping skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boiler systems in compliance with regulations.
• Diagnose and repair plant equipment including pumps, motors, compressors, valves, tanks, and flowmeters.
• Perform preventive maintenance on piping, tanks, and other infrastructure.
• Weld or fabricate railings, stairs, and tank supports as needed.
• Collaborate with operators to maintain uptime and safety.
• Participate in safety inspections and environmental initiatives.
