Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of engineering fundamentals as applied to Boilers and Pressure Vessels, normally via advanced coursework or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, industry and company regulations, codes and practices.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license issued by Hawaii or another U.S. state.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• 3–5 years of plant operations/maintenance experience focusing on inspection, condition monitoring and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, coordinates and performs inspections of boilers, pressure vessels, piping and relief devices.
• Provides technical support for overhauls and repairs ensuring QA and code compliance.
• Develops condition assessment programs for critical plant equipment.
• Provides on-site technical support and promotes safe, efficient practices.
• Supports planning of outage work and vendor coordination.
• Maintains records and supports economic evaluations as needed.
