Job summary

Thermal Tech Inc is seeking an experienced Boiler Technician focused on controls, instrumentation, and combustion systems. You’ll diagnose faults, tune burners, commission systems, and perform disciplined preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and reliable.

You’ll work in the field, testing electrical control components, reading schematics, and documenting work using NetSuite mobile, collaborating with service, parts, and sales teams while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
3+ years of field experience in boiler HVAC or electrical controls.
Strong troubleshooting ability — diagnose issues, not just replace parts.
Knowledge of boiler room equipment, combustion testing equipment, PLC programs.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, calibrate, and replace electrical control components.
Diagnose electrical faults across boiler control circuits using multimeters.
Service and tune burner management systems and perform combustion analysis.
Execute electrical commissioning on new installations and post-repair boiler systems.
Document all work in NetSuite mobile and coordinate with teams.
Work independently in the field while coordinating with service, parts, and sales.
