Job summary

TNT Heating and Air is seeking an experienced Boiler and Chiller Service Technician to support commercial HVAC customers. The role focuses on servicing water-cooled chillers, closed-loop boilers, hydronic systems, pumps, and controls.

The ideal candidate will work independently, diagnose complex issues, and provide preventative maintenance. EPA Universal Certification is required; 3+ years of relevant experience and a valid driver's license are expected. Company vehicle and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial chiller/boiler experience.
• Hands-on experience with water-cooled chillers.
• Experience with closed-loop boilers and hydronic heating systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for commercial HVAC.
• Experience with pumps, cooling towers, controls, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain water-cooled chillers and closed-loop boiler systems.

• Troubleshoot refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Service pumps, valves, piping, cooling towers, and hydronic components.

• Evaluate equipment condition and make repair or replacement recommendations.
• Document service findings and communicate clearly with customers and the service team.
• Follow company safety standards and manufacturer requirements.

Pay: $40-$45/hour, based on experience

Position Overview

TNT Heating and Air is hiring an experienced Boiler and Chiller Service Technician to support our commercial HVAC customers.

This role is focused on servicing and troubleshooting water-cooled chillers, closed-loop boilers, hydronic systems, pumps, controls, and related commercial equipment. We are looking for a technician who can work independently, diagnose complex issues, and provide reliable service and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain water-cooled chillers and closed-loop boiler systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and control issues
• Service pumps, valves, piping, cooling towers, and hydronic components
• Diagnose compressors, motors, relays, sensors, safeties, and controls
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation

Preferred Experience

• Factory chiller training
• Chiller rebuild or overhaul experience
• Commercial boiler and combustion service
• Building automation or controls
• Large-tonnage commercial HVAC systems
• NATE or manufacturer certifications
