Job summary

Hollywood Palms Cinema is seeking a dedicated team member to assist the Culinary Manager with ordering and inventory. This role focuses on ensuring that the team adheres to safety guidelines and trains team members on menu preparation and presentation.

The ideal candidate should have at least one year of fine dining experience, possess strong customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and competitive pay are part of the offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant.
• Able to multi-task and stand for long periods.
• Food handler's card may be required as per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Culinary Manager with all ordering and inventories.
• Ensure team follows Safety and Sanitation guidelines.
• Train team members on menu item preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Culinary Manager in all ordering and inventories
• Assigning accurate prep lists to the team
• Ensuring the team is following all Safety and Sanitation guidelines
• Train with consistency around each menu item and all recipes to team members in order to ensure accuracy with quality and presentation
• Become proficient in each kitchen station, and be comfortable working on the line with the team as needed during peak volume
• Learning, understanding, and teaching expo and runners how to ensure consistency in quality and presentation, in order to keep hot food hot, and cold food cold

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Able to multi-task
• Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Customer service focused and solution oriented
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
• Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
