Job summary

Super Taco is seeking a reliable BOH Prep / Utility team member for a fast-paced kitchen. You will support cooks and management to ensure smooth operations and uphold high food safety standards. The role offers part-time hours in a full-service restaurant with growth opportunities in a collaborative team.

Candidates should have kitchen experience, the ability to multitask, and a current food handlers card or willingness to obtain one. Uniforms are provided, and employee discounts apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment.
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking procedures, and safe kitchen equipment use.
• Ability to multitask, follow written and verbal instructions, and self-motivate.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a current food handlers card.
• Strong knife handling and basic computer/phone skills.
• Must provide and wear correct uniform: non-slip shoes, nametag, Super Taco shirt, jeans, hair up with hair cap, nails short, no earrings, apron.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up and stock prep and cook stations with necessary supplies.
• Ensure all food items are prepared to proper temperatures and quality standards.
• Assist with catering tasks and processes when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment.
• Report any broken equipment or repairs to management.
• Follow opening, shift change, and closing procedures.
• Comply with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
• Assist with training new kitchen staff as directed.
• Work with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
