Position Overview:

As a Kitchen Team Member, you will be an ambassador of Ladybird Taco and our core values. You will be integral to the guest experience by creating delicious, high-quality food that meets our standards for quality and food safety. You will report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.

You must be a team player, willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to keep the store running smoothly. Every team member is responsible for upholding our core values.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all food meets safety and quality standards, preventing cross-contamination
• Prepare cold and hot food items using prep worksheets
• Follow proper knife safety procedures
• Operate oven and hot prep equipment, ensuring correct time and temperature
• Use cold prep equipment like fit-wash and robot coupe
• Maintain clean, food-safe stations throughout the shift
• Set up and break down oven station, keep hot prep zone organized
• Communicate with team members, manage inventory, and ensure areas are stocked
• Learn and stay updated on menu and ingredients
• Receive and store incoming orders
