SA Hospitality Group, founded by Gherardo Guarducci and Dimitri Pauli, is rooted in Italian tradition and caters to modern NYC clientele. Since 2003, it has expanded to multiple iconic locations, including Sant Ambroeus in Aspen, with 24 restaurants across various locations.

Position Purpose

This role involves food prep and plating according to menu specifications and chef instructions, specifically for our new Aspen restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare authentic pasta and dishes maintaining quality standards.
  2. Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines.
  3. Train and develop team members in pasta making.
  4. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
  5. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  6. Cook, season, and test foods for doneness.
  7. Plate, garnish, and serve food.
  8. Assist during busy periods or emergencies.
  9. Cook meats, vegetables, and other foods using various methods.
  10. Prepare fruits and vegetables for cooking.
  11. Estimate food needs and requisition supplies.
  12. Carve meats for service or sandwiches.
  13. Bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods as needed.
  14. Maintain professionalism with staff.
  15. Follow opening and closing procedures.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Ability to work as part of a team, maintain personal cleanliness, and keep uniforms clean.
  2. Basic skills in food handling, preparation, and cleaning are preferred.
  3. Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
  4. Active listening and learning skills.
  5. Proficiency in English for communication and safety.
  6. Reading and speaking comprehension skills.
  7. Discipline in following standards.
  8. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
