Job summary

Blackberry Farm, LLC in Maryville, TN is seeking a front-of-house guest services team member. The role involves pre-arrival communications to book activities, spa services, and dining, and serving as the main point of contact for guests before arrival.

You will manage guest information, craft memorable experiences, verify bookings, and coordinate with other departments. A high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and hotel front-of-house experience are preferred.

The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Completes pre-arrival emails and calls prior to guest arrival to book activities, spa services, and schedule dining times
• Be a point of contact for guests prior to their arrival to inform guests of special happening during their stay and to answer any questions they may have
• Gathers/tracks guest information and preferences by maintaining the guest database
• Creates unique memorial experiences for our guests
• Reviews traces daily and confirms information with other departments
• Audit activity and spa bookings to ensure accuracy
• Communicates accurate guest information & preferences to other team members & departments
• Monitors website content to ensure accurate even information is posted

Other duties may be assigned.

To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Hotel Front of House operations experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
• Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Basic knowledge and understanding of math

REASONING ABILITY

• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
• Must be able to listen carefully to guest requests and execute them in a timely manner

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart
