Job summary

La Farm, Inc. is seeking a reliable dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations. You will clean dishes, assist with stocking and maintaining sanitation standards, and help with portering duties during shifts. Opportunity exists for growth into other departments for motivated individuals.

Applicants should have one year of dishwashing experience, be a team player with strong multitasking abilities, and show initiative. Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, floors and bathrooms; maintain cleanliness.
• Porter duties: manage dining room flow, receive and store deliveries, dispose of garbage.
• Assist in other departments as growth opportunities arise and learn quickly.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in daily operations.
• Follow open/close checklists and ensure readiness for the next shift.

Essential Duties:

• Cleaning: Clean and sanitize dishes (using hand sink and machine wash), dry and put away. Wash floors. Check and clean bathrooms.
• Porter: Maintain flow of work with clearing dining room bus bins. Receive and put away delivery orders. Dispose of garbage. Break down boxes.

Other Essential Duties:

• Operations Systems & Procedures
• Complete open and close checklists.
• Complete checks, for example, check dining room every 15 minutes.
• Tray chips correctly.
• Receive orders, and place, label, date orders accurately.
• Set up the next shift for success.
• Ensure overall unit safety and sanitation goals and policies.
• Maintain grade “A” or better by beating health and sanitation inspection standards.
• Uphold company standards and policies for open/closed.
• Ensure safe working conditions and comply with all laws.
