Job summary

Better Collision Centers in Charleston, SC is seeking a Collision Repair Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while delivering a world-class customer experience. You’ll perform thorough disassembly, repair, and reassembly, ensuring structural integrity and OEM-level quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical school program or apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a noisy environment

About the Role

As a Collision Repair Technician, you will play a pivotal role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while delivering a world-class customer experience. You’ll:

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program OR apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Strong knowledge of collision repair methods, tools, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 30 lbs., and safely perform repairs in a shop environment.

• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
