Responsibilities
  • Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in damage assessment and repair planning
  • Identify all needed repairs to reduce supplements and repair time
  • Follow work orders to plan procedures
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical parts, and store or cover parts to prevent damage
  • Repair damaged body parts by hammering, filling dents, welding, and fitting parts to industry standards
  • Operate hand and power tools (welders, soldering, cutting torches, sanders, spray guns, etc.)
  • Finish surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding before handing over to the Paint Department
  • Replace or repair defective parts
  • Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure safety and quality compliance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Adhere to all safety and operational procedures
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
  • 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Customer-focused with teamwork skills
  • Ability to understand written instructions
  • Background check clearance required
