Moss Bros Auto Group in Southern California is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to repair and restore vehicle bodies with precision. The role requires hands-on work, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Body Shop Technician.
• Ability to use a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification preferred.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Aluminum repair certifications a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
• Fill depressions with body filler.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels.
• Bolt or weld replacement parts in position.
• Straighten bent automobile frames.
• File, grind, sand, and prime, repair surfaces.
• Aim headlights, align wheels and bleed the hydraulic brake system.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical parts.
