Job summary

Moss Bros. Auto Group in California is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to support vehicle repairs and restorations. You will work on body assemblies, alignments, and mechanical repairs with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of body shop experience, can operate a frame machine, and possesses knowledge of manufacturer repair processes. Certification in I-CAR welding is a plus, with valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Body Shop Technician experience.
• Must be able to use frame machine.
• I-CAR welding certification preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
• Fill depressions with body filler.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels.
• Bolt or weld replacement parts in position.
• Straighten bent automobile frames.
• File, grind, sand, and prime, repair surfaces.
• Aim headlights, align wheels and bleed the hydraulic brake system.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical parts.
