Job summary

Green Ford in Greensboro, NC seeks an experienced automotive technician to identify parts, perform repairs, and ensure quality per dealer and factory standards.

This role requires welding, suspension/frame knowledge, ICAR certifications, and a clean driving record. We offer training, advancement opportunities, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid vacation. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Welding, suspension, and frame work experience required.
• ICAR certifications including Damage Analysis and Structural/Mechanical knowledge.
• Certifications listed above or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve parts needed for repair per work orders and warranty guidelines.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repair quality.
• Maintain current knowledge of repair processes per dealer and factory standards.
• Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy.
• Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
• Advise body shop estimator of additional damage or timing concerns.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve parts required for repair; review repair orders, work order, and Body Shop Managers estimate notes; follow warranty guidelines.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure quality repair.
• Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills including truck manufacturer’s repair process.
• Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
• Advise body shop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs or if repairs will not be completed on time.

Qualifications

• Welding, suspension, framework experience required
• ICAR Certifications; Damage Analysis, Mechanical and Electrical Components, Non-Structural and Structural Analysis and Damage Repair.
• Certifications listed above or equivalent experience and eagerness to improve
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
