Job summary

A leading commercial truck dealer group is seeking a Body Shop Technician to work on truck repairs and inspections. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, and prior Body Shop experience is preferred. Qualifications

• Prior Body Shop experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and DOT medical card.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Foreman to determine reparability and prioritize tasks.
• Apply decal designs to trucks after cleaning surfaces.
• Visually inspect parts after processing for defects.
• Identify nonconforming or defective components and take corrective action.
• Perform routine maintenance on polishing machines.
• Maintain or exceed efficiency goals.
