Job summary

Destination Nissan in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced collision repair technician. Responsibilities include repairing dents, grinding, and welding, replacing damaged parts, and preparing vehicles for customers.

The role requires at least 2 years of auto body experience, the ability to operate power tools, and a New York state inspector’s license along with a valid driver’s license. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

Destination Nissan is seeking an experienced collision repair technician! Qualified candidates will be responsible for tasks such as repairing dents, grinding ,and welding, repairing/replacing damaged/defective parts, and prepping vehicles before returning them to customers. Must have experience with body shop operations, OSHA laws (hazardous waste disposal, etc.), estimations, and parts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with auto body work is preferred
• Must be able to operated power-driven tools, hammers, wrenches, & spray guns
• Must adhere to safety guidelines and standards
• New York state inspector’s license is required
• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
