Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Chicago, IL is seeking a Union Body Shop Technician to service body shop customers, perform minor repairs and reconditioning of used trucks, and make small adjustments to ensure quality.

In this role you will sand and mask in preparation for painting, perform new truck pre-delivery checks and minor adjustments, and diagnose issues such as rattles, door/window misalignments, wind noises and leaks, all while upholding the highest customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Body shop and/or technical school experience.

• Check for and adjust rattles, squeaks, door and window adjustments and alignments, wind noises, water and dust leaks.

The Union Body Shop Technician is responsible for providing service to our body shop customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. This can include minor repairs and used truck reconditioning as well as minor adjustments.
