Job summary

Les Stumpf Ford in Appleton, WI seeks a Body Shop Technician who is detail-oriented, safety conscious, and dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and efficiency.

You will perform welding, body alignment, and frame work, inspect vehicles, road-test for quality, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following all safety and factory procedures. Opportunities for training and growth are emphasized in a family-owned Ford dealership environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior Body Shop/automotive repair experience required
• ASE or I-CAR certifications preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Own basic technician tools
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new repair methods

Responsibilities

• Repair, refinish, and restore vehicles to factory standards
• Perform welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame work
• Inspect vehicles and communicate additional repair needs
• Road-test vehicles for quality assurance
• Document work accurately and maintain a clean, safe workspace
• Follow all safety, environmental, and factory procedures
• Mentor or guide apprentice technicians as needed
