Job Summary

We are looking for a Body Shop Painter to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a background in paint repair and a positive attitude in the workplace. The day-to-day duties include performing quality paint applications, accurately evaluating the repair order, and arranging timely delivery of paint and necessary materials.

Responsibilities

• Promote understanding and dedication to client happiness
• Maintain technical knowledge to complete painting assignments properly
• Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements for vehicle repairs
• Evaluate work on repair orders, notifying estimators of necessary or unnecessary work
• Plan work procedures using manuals and surface preparation techniques
• Perform quality paint application efficiently, using appropriate tools
• Use protective supplies to keep vehicles clean
• Operate lifting devices to access areas
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying chemical solutions
• Mask surfaces not to be painted and remove accessories
• Mix and thin paints to specified colors and consistencies
• Spray coatings onto prepared surfaces
