Job summary

Swift Transportation in Memphis, TN is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on company-owned equipment, including tractors and trailers. This on-site role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a competitive pay range.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on body shop experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. We offer a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k)), plus paid time

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on body shop experience.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service and computer skills.
Ability to understand repair manuals.

Responsibilities

Complete a quality preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on all company owned equipment, to include tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and support equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, Swift, etc.).
Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform repairs for all equipment.
Disassemble, repair and re-assemble Heavy Truck & Trailer components.
Perform tire maintenance to include: repairs, failure analysis, coding, identification.
