Job summary

Manheim is seeking an Estimator II QC to provide accurate cost estimates for reconditioning and body work across assigned auction areas. You will communicate findings to maintenance and procurement teams, ensuring parts pricing is correct and timelines are met.

You will monitor progress, document repair details, and uphold safety standards while collaborating with colleagues to deliver quality results. A strong eye for detail is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED with 3+ years in a related field or degree with 1+ year, or 5 years in related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement/purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies.
• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation, and customer communications.
• Keeps records of repair/reconditioning details and completes paperwork.
• Follows safety procedures and participates in Safety Excellence.
• Supports safety activities and promotes a safe work environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning, and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement/purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation, and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair/reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Visibly demonstrates a commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.

Minimum:

• A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field; or any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience; or 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

MSCOX

USD 18.17 - 27.31 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
