Job summary

Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring a Body Shop Estimator in Salisbury, MD. This role focuses on greeting customers, inspecting damaged vehicles, and preparing precise repair estimates while coordinating with insurance adjusters and carriers.

You will prepare detailed reports, manage parts and labor costs, and maintain clear communication with customers through the repair process. Strong organization and familiarity with repair procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of collision estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of repair procedures and insurance processes.
• Organized, detail-oriented and dependable.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and vendors with professionalism and care.
• Inspect damaged vehicles and create accurate repair estimates.
• Prepare detailed reports and calculate parts and labor costs.
• Work directly with insurance companies and adjusters.
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
