Job summary

Victory Automotive Group is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates based on visual inspection and knowledge of parts, costs, and labor rates.

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary automotive training, at least two years of dealer-level or large facility experience, an unrestricted driver’s license, and a strong customer service record. Computer skills and a relevant certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of automotive experience preferred.
• Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and technical performance record.

Responsibilities

• Estimate repair costs based on inspection and parts/labor rates.
• Examine damaged vehicles to determine feasibility and costs of repair or replacement of parts.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with parts regulations.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standards.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Body Shop Estimator examines damaged vehicles for dents, scratches, broken glass, and other areas requiring repair, replacement, or repainting. They estimate the cost of repairing damaged automobile and truck bodies, on basis of visual inspection of vehicle and familiarity with standard parts, costs, and labor rates.
The ideal candidate has some post-secondary automotive training and at least two years of dealer-level or large facility experience. They have an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record and a strong technical and customer service performance record.
Computer skills are required. A certification or designation in the field of automotive repair is a plus.
