Job summary

Uftring Weston Chevrolet Cadillac in Illinois is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to inspect damaged vehicles, assess collision damage, and generate repair estimates using CCC ONE and other industry tools. You will communicate estimates to customers and insurance companies and help coordinate repairs.

We offer a fast hiring process with a competitive compensation package starting at $39,000 to $45,000 per year plus monthly bonuses. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Body Shop estimating.
• CCC ONE estimating experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and manage time/workflow.
• Valid IL driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
• Estimate labor and parts costs for repairs.
• Photograph damage and upload to the estimating system.
• Schedule repairs and arrange alternate transportation.
• Create and submit supplementary estimates.
• Communicate with customers and insurers.
• Maintain relationships with factory and insurance representatives.
• Follow up on insurance receivables.
• Quality control and assist technicians as needed.

The Body Shop Estimator will inspect damaged vehicles, determine the extent of the collision damage, generate accurate repair estimates using industry-standard tools and software, communicate the estimates to customers and insurance companies.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND CAN START BETWEEN $39,000 - $45,000 PER YEAR WITH ADDITIONAL BONUSES.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
• Estimates the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
• Photographs vehicle damage and uploads to the estimating system.
• Schedules repairs and facilitates alternate transportation.
• Creates and submits supplementary estimates.
• Customer communication, follow-up, and presentation of additional services.
• Maintain good relationships with factory and insurance representatives.
• Follow through with insurance receivables.
• Quality control.
• Assist Technicians as needed.

QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS:

• Minimum of 2 years of Body Shop estimating experience – CCC ONE estimating experience is preferred.
• Must be cable of communicating to customers of various backgrounds – expressing sensitivity to their concerns and ensuring enthusiasm.
• Must be able to work independently, effectively managing time and workflow.
• Basic computer and phone skills.
• Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

• Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Compensation for the Body Shop Estimator depends upon experience. It could begin at $39,000-$45,000 per year with monthly bonuses that could be between $800-$1200 per month.
