JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Body Shop Estimator

Reports To: Body Shop Manager

Exempt or Non-Exempt: Exempt

Full-Time or Part-Time: Full Time

Job Summary:

This position involves completing repair estimates on damaged vehicles, seeking and developing new business, and expanding the customer base within the assigned area.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete estimates and settle payments with vehicle owners and insurance companies
• Develop and grow the customer base in the assigned area to increase dealership revenue
• Promote all dealership services to potential customers
• Maintain excellent communication skills and interact professionally with customers and business owners
• Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a minimum of 2 years of heavy truck experience
• Background in body shop repairs, truck painting, and paint systems
• Proficiency with diagnostics computers, Office Suite, and CDK DMS system
