Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Bodyshop Customer Service Representative at BodyWorks of Murray Motors / BMW of Denver Downtown in Denver, CO. This role is the first point of contact for service customers with vehicle damage and uses AI estimating tech to generate preliminary repair estimates.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work with service and collision teams to maximize referrals, while delivering an ownership experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service, collision repair, estimating, sales, or customer-facing roles is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage BMW service customers whose vehicles have visible cosmetic or collision damage while on the service drive.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and utilize AI-powered estimating technology to create preliminary repair estimates quickly and accurately.
• Educate customers on repair options, insurance and customer-pay processes, and the benefits of repairing their vehicle at our certified collision center.
• Coordinate with the Collision Center team to schedule estimates, repairs, and customer follow-up, ensuring a seamless experience from service to body shop.
• Build strong relationships with Service Advisors and technicians to identify repair opportunities and maximize collision center referrals.
• Track customer interactions, estimate conversions, and follow-up activities to help achieve collision center sales and performance goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Sonic Automotive's commitment to transparency, integrity, and guest satisfaction.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with service and collision teams.
