Job summary

The Body Shop Assistant at Baker Collision (Coopersville) will assist the collision team in completing various tasks related to repairing damaged vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the industry.

As a part of Baker Collision you will play an important role in supporting the team to meet customer satisfaction and quality standards. This role involves hands-on work in a busy shop environment, with pay biweekly and a benefits package

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a body shop or automotive repair setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pre and post repair clean up/detailing of customer vehicles.
• Clean and maintain work area and tools.
• Receive and track parts as they enter the shop and dispatch accordingly.
• Remove trash recycling materials from shop daily.
• Help with general maintenance and upkeep of the body shop.

Compensation & Benefits
