Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Automotive engineering, or related field.
• Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming term.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Hands-on engineering involvement (Formula SAE/Baja/Solar Car) preferred.
• GPA 3.0 or above; transcript may be requested.
• Ability to work onsite in Canton, MS.

Responsibilities

• Support body dimensional improvements and vehicle quality initiatives.
• Assist with design, development, and validation of jigs and fixtures.
• Participate in projects enhancing technician safety and ergonomics.
• Support deployment of new manufacturing technologies and equipment installations.
• Collaborate with engineers and plant personnel to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
