Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services is seeking a Body Designer to create 3D designs using NX and Teamcenter for Body in White and casting components and assemblies. You will participate in the full design process from concept to production-level detailing, coordinating with engineers and designers to ensure standards are met.

The role focuses on designing NX CAD models, maintaining drawings, and supporting a collaborative team in automotive body systems design.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years NX (Unigraphics) automotive design experience.
• 5+ years knowledge of vehicles and vehicle assembly.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, welding, molding, casting).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of designer experience (preferred).
• Experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
• Familiarity with GD&T.
• Exposure to automotive castings and Body-in-White sheetmetal systems.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
